Management Assistant

Job description

You take care of the secretarial work for a number of lawyers (4 to 6).  This includes :

• The processing and typing of legal advices, documents, reports and correspondence by mail and/or letter
• Drafting PowerPoint presentations
• Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars (in particular deadlines in procedures)
• Independently follow up counter-related matters
• Answer and direct phone calls with (foreign) clients and legal services of all kinds
• Contact management
• Prepare and revise timesheets and invoicing for consistency before handing over to Billing Partner
• Organisation and preparation of business trips (hotel reservations, plane and train reservations)
• Co-organising and coordinating of (in-house) seminars
• Organisation of conference calls
• Possible extra tasks in case you are in possession of a Bachelor degree ‘Paralegal Assistant’ :
  o Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
  o Locate and develop case relevant information



• You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in a related field (Bachelor Office Management, Bachelor Paralegal Assistant, Master Translation, Academic Bachelor in Law, etc)
• You have an advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
• You are bilingual Dutch/French with a very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• You are stress-resistant, flexible, communicative, punctual
• You possess team spirit but you can also work autonomously
• Character wise people describe you as being positive, helpful, social and solution-oriented
