Lotfi advises Belgian and international clients on all facets of sports law issues, covering regulatory matters, employment disputes, as well as disciplinary and criminal proceedings. His master’s thesis focused on examining the compatibility of the procedure before the Court of Arbitration for Sport with the right to a fair trial under Article 6(1) of the ECHR, demonstrating a keen interest in fundamental rights applicable in the sports environment.

Before joining ALTIUS, Lotfi worked for three years and a half in a niche public law firm, where he advised public authorities and corporate entities on public and administrative law, specialized in drafting new laws and regulations, handled cases involving all areas of public law, and represented clients before courts, including the Council of State, the Constitutional Court, and the European Court of Justice.
